Privacy at Bable
Your game progress
Bable saves progress and results in your browser so you can continue a puzzle. It also remembers when you dismiss the practice introduction so it does not reopen on every visit. An anonymous player cookie lets the game save completed results and calculate rankings and streaks. If you are signed in through ChatGPT, saved results use a site-specific identifier derived from that identity. Completed results include your guesses and score.
Understanding the game
We count gameplay milestones such as opening a mode, entering a letter, checking a word, finishing and clicking Share, plus practice steps, demo views and demo Play clicks. These measurements use a random ID that lasts only for the current page load. They do not use an analytics cookie or connect to your saved player ID.
We record broad referral categories and predefined campaign labels, not full referral addresses, IP addresses or typed words in this event data. This helps us see where players get stuck. Visit events become eligible for deletion after 90 days and are cleaned in batches as new events arrive. The private owner dashboard shows at most 30 days of visit events.
This gameplay measurement is disabled when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. Blocking it does not prevent you from playing. Our hosting provider also operates its own site analytics and infrastructure logs, which are separate from these game measurements.
